Are you a business, corporate, or HIV/AIDS leader? Then join us at CAS' 2nd Annual World AIDS Day Gala. It's a red tie affair!
CAS celebrates leadership in HIV/AIDS with the presentation of its 2009 Corporate Leadership Award and hosts an evening of networking, entertainment and fundraising not to be missed.
Guest speaker at the Gala was Dave Brindle, respected Canadian broadcast journalist. A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, he was a network news anchor and host for CBC Television and Newsworld in the 1980s. Notably, he was Canada's first television personality to publicly acknowledge that he was HIV positive.
He now hosts his own radio show on Talk 1410 (CHUM Radio Vancouver) - the Dave Brindle Show. Unconstrained, Dave champions open democracy, environmentalism, civil liberties, human rights, and social activism.
