Rev. Donald Appleby died October 30, 2003 at the Ottawa General Hospital, aged 44. Don was a passionate advocate for people whose health could be improved by the use of medical marijuana.
He put all he had towards the cause. This is a great loss of someone who did everything he could to make a difference. There is a hole left in the medical marijuana community that will be difficult to fill.
Born in Halifax he was the son of the late John and Juanita (Hamilton) Appleby. He is survived by his brother Brian, Ottawa, uncle Donald Appleby, Kentville N.S. and Friends of the Compassion Club of Ottawa.
