People living with HIV/AIDS may confront many challenges in their workplace, including issues surrounding eligibility for benefits plans, confidentiality rights and discrimination.
Employers are encouraged to address HIV/AIDS in the workplace by adopting effective policies, offering training and awareness sessions about transmission risks, as well as job accommodation.
