Connor McCollum
Connor has been working as a frontline service provider, counsellor and educator for people living with, and affected by, HIV/AIDS for over ten years. He worked previously at the High Risk Project Society in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, a centre for HIV-positive trans women, and with GLBTTTSIQ youth. For the past five years, he has worked at the Prisoners’ HIV/AIDS Support Action Network (PASAN), for three years as the coordinator of the Youth Outreach program and currently as the coordinator of the Federal Hepatitis C Program. Through PASAN, Connor has visited Federal penitentiaries where men and trans women are housed, provided support, advocacy, education and counselling for people living with, or at risk of infection with, HIV and/or Hepatitis C.
