Henry has been involved with youth HIV/AIDS work with the AIDS Challenge Youth Club of the AIDS Support Organization (TASO) in Uganda since 1995. He is a staunch advocate of human rights and a strong believer in the power of young people and youth. Henry’s involvement with the production MTV Staying Alive Special: Meeting Nelson Mandela earned him One World’s 2004 Media Award for outstanding work in HIV/AIDS. In Canada, his extensive experience in youth HIV/AIDS projects include being an active member/volunteer with AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), Black CAP, AMREF-Canada and many other organizations. Henry is a board member for Africans in Partnership Against AIDS (APAA) and he is also a member of the Leadership Programme Committee as well as participates on the Youth Advisory and Global Village Committees for AIDS 2006.
