Lynne Belle-Isle
Lynne worked as an epidemiologist at Health Canada from 1994 to 2002 where she was involved in environmental health and chronic diseases such as asthma, cardiovascular diseases and cancer. Her work with the Canadian AIDS Society (CAS) began in 2004, where she worked on issues related to prisoners, hepatitis C, harm reduction, epidemiology. In 2005, Lynne led the
Cannabis as Therapy for People Living with HIV/AIDS Project on behalf of CAS. She also sat on the now disbanded Health Canada’s Stakeholder Advisory Committee on Medical Marihuana representing CAS.
