Ethnocultural Communities Information Resources

These information resources were developed by the Canadian AIDS Society and its member groups, AIDS Calgary Awareness Association (AIDS Calgary Awareness Association's African Communities Project: Best Practices and Project Brief Report) and AIDS Niagara (How to use a condom) for use among ethnocultural communities affected by HIV.

AIDS Calgary Awareness Association's African Communities Project - Best Practices: This information sheet provides six key tips on how best to reach members of ethnocultural communities and to develop effective HIV prevention, awareness and care programs that meet their distinct needs.

AIDS Calgary Awareness Association's African Communities Project - Brief Report: A step-by-step description of how the African Communities Project was developed, its goals and themes and an overview of lessons learned.

How to Use a Condom (English and Spanish - espanol): Detailed instructions and illustrations on how to properly use both male and female condoms.

The Canadian AIDS Society thanks its members groups that developed these key resources and made them available to share with our community-based members across Canada.
