15 Minutes for Mom

Sons, daughters, partners and most importantly, moms – this Mother’s Day 2013, share 15 minutes to talk about HIV, to get informed or to get tested!

Why choose Mother’s Day for an HIV campaign, you might ask. Did you know that, among women, the age group most affected by HIV is 30-39? That coincides with the average age at which Canadian women have children.

With moms, and women in general, at risk, it’s important for them to know. And for moms, it may be a good time for you to celebrate your role by

speaking with your child(ren) about love, relationships and HIV. It’s a way of sharing your knowledge and experience so that your kids can learn the facts and take steps to protect themselves.
